Default Bad seller ALERT!

hi everyone i would like to warn you of a shop in sim lim which not only sell games handphones etc. at high prices but also not in full package condition.
I bought a psp 3 months ago from the shop MOBILE HUT at either 2nd or 3rd floor. The package was a gigaset black psp and it was selling at a whopping 600d. As i was unsure about psps at that time i bought it. The salesman even told me an additional 50d was needed for the warranty. When i compared with my cousins set bought at funzcentre, i was shocked to find that i did not have a usb cable and have no psp stand.

A few months later i went back to the shop and pretended to be interested in the psps. When i asked what the set consisted, the salesperson had the cheek to ask me what I WOULD like to have in the set. It was obvious that they had taken out all the components from the set and sold then seperately.

My friend at that time bought a nokia 6680. It did not even have the nokia earpeice and 32mb mem card! He was pissed but did not want to have anything to do with bad sellers like MOBILE HUT in SIM LIM SQUARE. I m writing this out of goodwill and hoping people will check the prices before entering the shop. Thanks and i hope it will not cause any form of disturbance to the shop.

Well, alot of such things happen. There were people selling psps at $240 half a year back, which made it super cheap of course, but when you go ask them, they'll tell you about the batteries which is an extra $80. Or something like that, cant recall the actual prices. Well, at least mine did tell me about the fact the price didnt include the batteries.

LOL, shuin, if people don't read carefully, people would think you were from the shop. Take a look at your post and read it to yourself.

think maybe we can have a thread where members share their knowledge of the unscruplous dealers ard sg. So that no others will ever have to suffer a bad experience.

be really careful of this MOBILE HUT... it is located at the second storey of SLS... CHRIS can funzforum have our very own blacklisted shops..like make it a sticky thread... so every member can c...fair price for electronic devices is endorsed in funzcentre...let them know that a shop situated in a neighbourhood can offer better bargains than that offered by shops in SLS.. yes we cannot deny e fact that some shops in SLS give good prices... however there are those idiots out there who are going all out to cheat tourists and even locals... my advice to funz-ers: use funzcentre's pricelist to compare(DUH!)
